I’m a traveler, translator, and vegetarian foodie who enjoys sharing the little pockets of the world to strangers on the internet. Apart from Travels Unfold, I also run Open Metaphor, a language service provider for creative content.
I consider myself a “slowmad,” preferring to stay in countries at least a few months to a year at a time. This gives me time to appreciate the local life and ease the pressure of having to see everything at once. For me, traveling isn’t a holiday, it’s a lifestyle. In between trips, I have home bases in Austin, TX and Bangkok, Thailand.
The content on Travels Unfold draws from personal experience and preferences. We all travel differently, so this blog is only one of many perspectives. That said, I hope it will feed your curiosity and inspire you to embark on your own adventures!
